| 508281 | 2006-12-20 10:32:00 | My daughter has signed up with Slingshot. Connects OK to internet and uses Mailwasher. Mail arrives there OK but will not open in Outlook Express. Error message is " Connection to server has failed Account POP3.slingshot.co.nz Server POP3.slingshot.co.nz. Protocol POP3 Port 995 Secure(SSL) Yes. Socket error 10060. Error Number OX800CCOE. The Port 995 is the default. All other entries seem OK, on Mailwasher and Outlook Express with regard to TOOLS-ACCOUNTS-PROPERTIES-INCOMING MAIL ETC. Should the boxes be checked for "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" in tools-accounts-properties-advanced? Help will be appreciated. Thanks |
