| 508587 | 2006-12-21 13:10:00 | so...tomorrows the day i leave orcon, due to them giving bad customer service etc..they have nice speeds but there unlimited isnt unlimited etc..now i get bout 700kb/s dl speed, will i get this with woosh? im planning on moving to them as there not reselling go large, and i can get the interleaving taken off with them(for gaming etc). so is anyone with woosh? are they shaping anything, and is there unlimited REALLY *UNLIMITED*? | jesse_jax (9283) | ||
| 508588 | 2006-12-21 21:07:00 | They have a "reasonable use" policy, 700MB max at your line's full speed and after that it gets throttled back. This restriction only applies between 5pm and midnight, after which your speed goes back to it's normal rate. I'm on their unlimited plan and I download way more than 700MB but haven't noticed any drop in speed, mind you my line's only capable of 2Mbps as I am a long way from the exchange, so I guess I can't get slower than that lol. cheers chiefnz |
