| 508477 | 2006-12-21 05:00:00 | Hi, I hope to obtain my gear tomorrow but BB won't be for a while. One computer is connected to router by "wired" - this has no wireless card. The other comptuter has a wireless card. 1. Can they share files or does each need a wireless card? 2. Can the first computer scan for hotspots or does it need its own wireless card? 3. Is it possible to not attach the ADSL cable, I can run cable modem off it instead? Or do I need a router without a modem? 4. Without ADSL cable attached it acts like any other router/hub? Thanks |
