509335 2006-12-24 20:55:00 Hi there.

I would like to add the four note "jingle" that precedes all airport PA announcements, to a website. But for the life of me, I cant locate this jingle/music as a wav file anywhere on the net.

This short, four note melody is almost endemic in PA systems, heard it yesterday while shopping in Farmers Dunedin store, so I figure it should be reasonably easy to locate on the net.

Not so, I’ve spent nearly 2hrs looking for the same, HYCH.

Thanks...........John in Mosgiel.

Thanks . . . . . . . . . . . John in Mosgiel . I have a microphone that is/was an announcement microphone . . It sits on a base, and one button makes the Mic work, and the other makes a "bing bong" noise . . . Wonderful thing . . . Source of much confusion when used as the sound engineers microphone during sound checks :)

Ok, that doesn't help much, but i just thought i'd share :D

509337 2006-12-24 21:33:00 You might need to brush up on your search techniques. I came up with heaps of potential sounds (haven't got the time to wade through them all) by doing a Google search (www.google.co.nz). Greg (193)

509342 2006-12-25 08:34:00 Have you thought of getting someone with an electronic keyboard to work it out for you? as far as i know its just any four successive notes of a major chord (well that sounds like it anyway). Is that what you are thinking of? Dannz (1668)
509343 2006-12-25 08:52:00 Maybe this one? (www.northgate.k12.pa.us) R2x1 (4628)
