| 508873 | 2006-12-23 05:10:00 | As sure as the stars circle the sky (or whatever those tasteless twinkly things do) I am sure there is a past thread for this, but Xtra is really starting to P*** me off by dropping the connection to anything hosted overseas on a regular basis (usually early evening). All since Go Large got outa control, and even though I'm still on the Adventure plan. Someone please fix it...and quick would you. Oh yeah and the dodgy e-mail as well ta :thumbs: |

Are you able to Skype ok, web browsing and email should be fine? If its so bad why are pple hogging onto it? Cannot you go back to Go Adventure plan or pay the $100 and move to a diff ISP with those GBs one want? Maybe thats why i know someone in Chc with 1Mbit he didn't upgrade to the unleached at all. haha. |

| 508877 | 2006-12-23 07:30:00 | No, I'm still on the 'old' Adventure plan and didn't 'upgrade' (well actually downgrade) because I thought being stuck in a pool of users didn't sound nice. It appears that Xtra have 'unleashed' everyone whether they like it or not. D/load speeds have definately dropped (seemed to have about halved on services like Rapidshare) but I don't use them much so it's no big deal, or Skype. I just want internet that is reliable... that's what I pay good money for. |

Being with Go Large ius like being in hell...bastards lose connections often, speeds are shaped, fast speeds are rare and very unpredictable....P2P is shaped.....ping is crap.....customer service can't do a thing.....*sigh* |

I can jump from 250kbps to 10kbps for a couple of minutes before it goes up again. |

I don't mind things getting a bit slow, but being unable to access overseas sites when I want is a contravention of my contract with them. Seems to have started since high schools closed for summer break. Ken |
