| 510029 | 2006-12-27 13:01:00 | Ok today I tried to install scorched earth 3D off the PC world CD (November 2006) and each time I did, just after the installer opened Windows Defender poped up saying that it had detected "hotbar" installing it's self. Everytime I opened the scorched earth 3D installer this happened. Each time I removed Hotbar with Windows Defender, but in doing so it caused the installer for SE3D to close. Avast didn't detect anything funny in the SE3D.exe Defender classed it as a medium level threat which does tracking, so letting it stay wasn't an option. Is anyone else having this problem or have I just got a bung copy? |
