509608 2006-12-25 21:09:00 I've tried to download a couple of videos (290mb) of rapidshare but they seem to stop with about 10 to 20mbs to go (this is downloading in the middle of the night when my Go Large is running at the phenomenal speed of 29kbs) which then means I have to down load the whole thing again. So- on my old computer there was a shareware program that if the download stopped you could restart and it would carry on from where it stopped and you wouldnt need to start from scratch. Has anybody got any idea what the program was called ? (its such a long time ago and until I got broadband I wasnt worried about downloads and I've forgotten) or something that does the same thing? Thanks Folks. Clod (7853)

509612 2006-12-25 23:26:00 There are many free d/load managers that you can choose from...(Google+d/load manager ;)

I've used leechget (www.leechget.net) for a number of years on my xp install and it's served me well.

No DLM's work on Rapidshare unless you have Premium (which may I add is worth it if you are a download hog, 16 connections running at 300kbps is just heaven).

That was just an interjection to Clod's question; didn't really mean that :D

How much may I download as a free-user?

Since we have raised the max . file-size from 100 MB to 300 MB, we have also changed the calculation for free-downloads to a fair-use-no-abuse model . The delay between two downloads is now defined by the download-traffic you have generated before .

Nah thats not it . That simply stats that the ammount of data you download equates to the time you have to wait for the next file you want to download .

100mb is around a 45min wait .
