The last Multibay II DVD burner I bought for an HP notebook was about $450.00. I don't know if the Omnibook uses the Multibay II drives or not, what model Omnibook is it? Check out the HP website for more info. |

I'm not sure what bay it uses, its an omnibook xe3 and it says compatible with up to DVD/RW drives. Would this be suitable; www.trademe.co.nz ? |

It may be cheaper that you buy an external drive. You can get a reasonable one for around $160. |

I think the first thing to do would be to phone a computer dealer for a quote to supply and fit the unit. |
