| 510845 | 2007-01-03 10:31:00 | Ok I have d/l 66 updates including Office SP2, but I have just clicked on the little icon in the right hand corner saying that I have new updates and Windows Service Pack 2 is in there at between 75-266mb, also in there is Realteck AC 97 Audio, what is this???. After all this am I going to have any room on my computer to do anything??? LOL |

I wouldn't recommend installing it as I've had a lot of trouble with sound drivers off windowsupdate. I didn't realise it automatically downloaded drivers. You will probably have plenty of room still free. If you want to find out just how much, go into My Computer, right-click on C drive & select properties. |

| 510847 | 2007-01-03 22:11:00 | NEVER install drivers from the Windows update site. You'll have probs. Get the drivers from the CD if u have it, or from the manufacturer's site. I've never seen it automatically install drivers. Most probably coz I've got auto updates on notify me but don't download them. |

Also since doing a system recovery, I keep getting a message when I go on line saying to try again or connect, or cannot display this page, if i click on try again the page comes up, or refresh the page comes up. |

| 510853 | 2007-01-04 00:52:00 | Go to control panel / system / hardware / device manager . Look for the display adapters entry, click on the + . Whats it say here? Does it say S3, or Nvidia something? The video card is what the monitor plugs into . Without it, u wouldn't see anything on a screen . The can not display page prob, Open IE if this is what u use tools / Internet options . Advanced tab . Set everything to default . See if it gets any better . |
