| 511048 | 2006-12-30 07:15:00 | My ASUS laptop has Intel PROset/Wireless and Windows own wireless utilities installed. Sometimes, (yes, sometimes only) the Intel icon in the system tray shows that the wireless is turned off (it is actually ON), and there is a little pop up balloon saying that 'wireless is connected but there is no active profile (something like that); but I can connect to the Internet without any problem. I have to turn the laptop's wireless OFF and then ON again to 'make' this Intel Proset wireless utility recognise that my wireless is actually ON. However, it does sometimes recognise correctly when I turn on Windows. Any suggestions ? Cheers |
