| 512058 | 2007-01-02 03:10:00 | Hi We have a Compaq Presario 5000 and would like to delete everything and have a fresh installation. We have the 3 QuickRestore CD's but when I load them up it asks for the Emergency Diskette. I try and skip this but it wont do anything till it has found it, it appears. We can't find this Emergency Diskette... So, does anyone know where I can download a copy of this diskette? Thanks |

| 512061 | 2007-01-02 04:58:00 | The emergency diskette is going to be specific to your computer most likely, so it may not be possible to download it from anywhere. The Compaq site seems to imply there is a Recovery CD as well as Quick Restore Cds. Maybe a call to Compaq is in order? |
