511438 2007-01-01 00:22:00 I have just downloaded Internet xplorer 7 onto my almost brand-new computer. Apart from hiding all my favourite buttons, it will not automatically connect to the Internet whenever I open it up. It maintains that I am offline, and that I must go to tools and uncheck working offline or whatever. I have been there, it doesn't seem to exist. I have to open the Outlook express, connect there and then go to IE. Once I've done this I can close it and open it as much as I want and it will then connect. What can I do to correct this? And tools / left mouse tick menu bar to get the menu.

I got it the day I got my new comp, 2 weeks ago and had a similar problem with my Windows Live messenger saying that it couldn't log in due to IE's offline setting, Turns out, it was just its way of saying "Give me access through your firewall" :) beeswax34 (63)
