| 511402 | 2006-12-31 20:31:00 | Me again. If I open multiple windows, FF tends to "stack" them, showing Firefox with 6 or 7 windows open. I hate that. Where do you change the settings so that one gets the non-stacked windows on the bottom bar? XP, FF sarel |

That is the beauty with Firefox, being able to use tabs instead of a new windows. Just ask if you are unsure how to set up Firefox to always use Tabs. :) |

I am not sure if this is part of Firefox by default or whether it came with my "Tab Mix Plus" extension, but it will warn me that I am about to close a window with X many tabs still open and asks me to OK or Cancel that action. I also can undo any accidentally closed individual tabs too which is really handy. :) This is that extension I use which is really handy: Tab Mix Plus (addons.mozilla.org). |

| 511408 | 2006-12-31 20:59:00 | Yes Jen, I know, but my fingers are usually a bit too quick and before I know it I've clicked "yes" - and perhaps me not realising at the time I'm closing all tabs. My quick fingers came from the era of Lotus 123, where "slash" commands were the quick and easy way to go and I haven't quite lost that yet. sarel |
