511574	2007-01-01 09:05:00	Ok looks like there's a few errors are in that log This: 0x8007043C, which by the looks of it may mean some services aren't working. Go to control panel / admin tools / services. Look for BITS (background intelligence transfer service). Double click on it, make sure its on: Automatic and started. Automatic updates: Make sure its the same as BITS. And Event Logs as above.	Speedy Gonzales (78)

511576	2007-01-01 16:50:00	Hey Speedy: If this is what I think it is: O23 - Service: hpdj - Unknown owner - C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\hpdj.exe (file missing) - I dont know why this is running from a temp folder. ...it is supposed to run in Temps area...and the jury is out on the virus/trojan/malware part yet...but the general consensus is HP-related and safe..... I see this on other puters and they aren't having any of the trouble in this post....so far. I seem to remember this problem as some sort of "cyclic redundancy" or "time-parity" problem in the past...Maybe? just a thought........grey matter is turning brown....	SurferJoe46 (51)

511580	2007-01-01 22:59:00	0x8007041d Error Frustrating When i try to go to the windows update site, the site either crashes or it will tell me i need to install the latest updating software. Upon updating the site stalls on "registering 100%" on the occasion the site continues i get the 0x8007041d error. Microsoft support suggestions do not help or are irrelevant. A number of people on PF1 have tried to help you but it's like going to the doctor- it's best if you tell the doctor everything relevant in the 1st place, then wait until he miraculously fixes the problem. 511583	2007-01-02 00:02:00	Well I got one reply saying as we already know there's multiple issues. And the CD maybe needed. Somehow, I don't think we're going to get far without the XP CD.
