| 511682 | 2007-01-03 04:30:00 | Hello there What site(s) with good trackers would you recommend? Also how does the tracker system work Cheers I wouldn't consider any sites found with Google good, but you can use it to find some half descent public trackers. Private trackers are generally seen as far better however with data Caps in NZ makes this option a tad more tricky. There are plenty of forums for researching this. Just search for some P2P forums and start reading, as already rightly stated this is not the place :p |

| 511683 | 2007-01-03 07:17:00 | Azureus itself DOES NOT GIVE BETTER SPEEDS THAN uTorrent! Neither can it be said the other way! It'll be your configuration... Ive had (out-of-the-box, fresh install of uTorrent on a newly setup XP box) speeds over over 600KB/s down! It was as fast as the connection could go! Using the same torrent file, I also did the same in Azureus... Same deal, same speeds, only Azureus used more system resources when it was running. Azureus makes it nice and easy to adjust the number of concurrent connections allowed, perhaps you specified the wrong settings when you first-run uTorrent? |
