| 512197 | 2007-01-03 05:37:00 | wellllllllllllllllllllllllllll i am ready to put a hammer thro my screen for the last two days i have spent hours on this stupid thing . . . . . . . . . and rearanged the pics in order 3 times cos for some reason they no longer stay where i put them, renaming them doesnt help cos i then have stupid icons every where and i cant tell what they are . . . . . . . spent about 8 hrs on this today only to find i have sore eyes and a folder that has no order at all . . . . . . . . may be i should give this up as imposible . nothing has gone right this year and today is only 3rd Jan . . . . . . . . . . . bugga bugga bugga . words of wisdom or a shoulder to cry on right now would be great . . beetle |

But alas no........... at the moment i am renaming each picture manually in the file - note not the originals............got 1 hundred done so far, 800 and something to go......and even tho it is time consuming it is working to order them how i want and they stay put.........and then ill just burn the beeping things to a dvd disk and thats it i dont wanna see them again never felt this frustrated about a comp and a process in a heck of a long time............and have no intentions of doing this again in a hurry....... Thank you for all your help.........but i think i done my dash on this learning curve......... life is too turbulent for me to concentrate at moment........ so not id get instructions if they were thrown at me right now... beetle:rolleyes: |

Although I have never used the Microsoft photo orgainser app it sounds like it would be the easiest way for you to achieve what your wanting. I am more familiar with its Mac equivalent. My only suggestion if you have any brain power left would be to download the Microsoft one and drag your photos into that. If you want to see the less frustrating way of doing what your trying to achieve (when you have recovered) check it out here - (sorry there is no Windows equivalent!) www.apple.com here is the MS "equivalent" again www.microsoft.com good luck! |

| 512201 | 2007-01-03 07:50:00 | ok . . . . . . . . . . . . . well ive never used either progs or any progs that can do this . . . . . . not needed to edit this many photos before, that were not taken in order of a walk thro . . . . . . . . thought of this idea after i had about half them done . . . and i dont know anything about script . . . . . im a noob really with lots of posts . :p but im learning . . . . . . . . and always willing to listen to ideas and others help . i actually enjoying the editing . . . . . . . . manually renaming ( numbering) dont know how a program would do that if i would want tho . is it something already on a puter or is it a download as well? i looked at allblacks link and tho it seems good, when trying to download it went thro too many checks and validation things for me, and i gave up, this methodical pounding away at keyboard is good now i got it too work . . . . . . . . almost soothing:p and tho i dont know much about MACs i do now have a apple laptop in my possession that im going to learn to fly at some stage . . . . . . just not today . . . . . . . . its old but its something to learn on beetle:thumbs: thanxs |

Does it have OS X or OS 9 on it? If it has OS X on it you can use iPhoto and iMovie right now! If you get stuck PM me and I can run you through it to save you about 5 hours worth of learning! |

| 512204 | 2007-01-03 08:27:00 | Here's how to do it in Nerovision. 1 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 2 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 3 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 4 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 5 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 6 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 7 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 8 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 9 (www.imagef1.net.nz) 10 (www.imagef1.net.nz) These steps are similar to when u burn a DVD in Nerovision. Except u would select Make DVD in step 2. You could select DVD video under slideshow if the plugin is installed. |
