| 1410385 | 2015-10-23 23:48:00 | Windows 10 PC starts up but screen stays blank - previously worked fine. PC tried on second monitor - same issue. Video card checked in a second Windows 10 machine and works fine. Second working video card tried in first machine and blank screen remains. PC seems to be working normally and everything spinning, fans and hard drives. Suggestions? |

Two days ago had boot problems(Dual Boot win 10/8.1) wanted to boot from Windows 10 DVD to do a Repair which failed and wanted Back up or start all again Had Back up image from a few weeks ago and got up and running See their was a few Win updates that could cause problems that was pulled previously Win 10 was trouble free till a few days ago |

So put the HDMI cable into this machine next to it and connect it to same monitor with same cable and everything works. |

| 1410388 | 2015-10-24 02:16:00 | Disconnect the HDD, see if it will boot from the Windows DVD or some other bootable CD ( linux - bootable partition software etc) , you wont get far but it will be enough to see if the graphics display. If they do then its more than likely a driver problem, if it still wont show anything from a bootable CD then the Graphic card is not connecting to the motherboard, OR worst case the Board or some other component may be faulty someplace. |
