1410152 2015-10-18 19:56:00 Hi and good morning to you all...
Has been quite awhiles now with no problems from my computer.
However that changed today.
Opened my Outlook 2007 just now and find that some of my folders can't be accessed.
"Cannot display the folder. Errors have been detected in the file.....
goes onto say..."and then use the Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose & repair errors in the file"
Has got me flummoxed...don't know where to start.
Any and all help gratefully received.

cheers*

1410153 2015-10-18 23:55:00 Scanpst doesn't always fix Outlook completely, its really hit and Miss sometimes.

But as to its location, you never said what OS you are running or if its X64 or not. You also have to know the location of your pst file in order to run Scanpst.

Have a read of the article usingscanpst (www.howto-outlook.com)

1410154 2015-10-21 10:40:00 Inbox repair tool is the inbuilt tool suggested by Microsoft. Tool has some boundaries and would not work for comprehensively corrupt PST file. To repair corrupt PST file I would suggest repairing using professional PST recovery software. Recently I also used Stellar Phoenix Outlook PST Repair software to recover corrupt Outlook. After using the tool I would suggest same tool for you to opt. You can use software free demo version to see preview of repaired PST file. www.stellarinfo.com AlbertWheeler (17411)
