| 1401998 | 2015-06-05 07:01:00 | Smarter than any politician we've got, better looking too. Integrity is another win for the Ironhound. Unlike an old style dog (or a politician) it wont steal your food or take a dump in your lounge. Vets are going to be spitting tacks though. |

Sounds good to me, but they will still have to program them to chase cats; and to chew the legs off burglars, door-to-door salesmen, disliked in-laws, and bailiffs. In fact, it would be essential that it be custom-programmable to eat the tires off any cars that might, in the middle of the night, think it a good idea to leave lumps of rubber in your neighbourhood, and also to dismember any person it might find carrying a spraycan after dark; plus any other classification of undesirable, and finally, to scare the living bejeezus out of doorway, footpath and gutter pukers & piddlers by removing tender parts of their anatomy without the aid of sharp instruments or anaesthetics. Personally speaking, I would favour the addition of a 'defcon' function, built-in to automatically erase any of the foregoing from the face of the earth if they so much as whimper about the minor loss of a leg or two.
