1401563 2015-05-29 09:34:00 Had "one of those days" Any Simple thing take a lot longer than they should have, then the Damn HDD on the main Office PC decided it had had enough:crying

No Problems me thinks, throw in another HDD, put back the backup from last night back in, roughly an hour later all back up and going, all programs, data - everything like nothing happened.

THEN went to access the Server ------- Locked out, with the following message "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to."

WTF !! everything looked fine, even logged in on another PC using the same User Name / Password . :illogical:confused:

Dummy had fallen for the near oldest tricks in the book  Time to have a beer after that head scratching

Anyone care to guess what the problem was

1401564 2015-05-29 10:55:00 I've seen that message before and usually means that the account is locked on the server due to too many incorrect login attempts with the wrong password, but that wasn't the problem here since you could log in from another PC.
Wrong date/time perhaps due to being restored to last nights backup?

1401565 2015-05-29 11:10:00 Yep that was it CY, BUT it wasn't behind time it was ahead - Weird, the date on the PC had somehow jumped ahead to Monday 1st June 7.50pm. As if the long Weekend will go fast enough with out the damn PC saying its been and gone already LOL.:badpc: ( Time was right - Date was way out)

As I said, old trick completely forgot about it -dhurrrrrrrrrr

One of those days, :groan: simple things going completely wrong. Went to inject some drivers into a .wim file for a couple of laptops I'm doing over the weekend so I can load them from the server ( saving hours of downloading updates - the standard nic drivers wont work) ------ something went wrong while doing it, and completely buggered the .wim file, just as well it was only a copy.
