| 1402362 | 2015-06-13 04:25:00 | Cold damp houses.....they harp on about it. Insulate it, hang curtains, have carpet. The thing will still be cold UNLESS you turn on some form of heating. Heater, heat pump, wood burner. If the family in it can't afford that and therefore don't, then why is it the fault of the house? We had no heating on last night - at first. Husband was freezing to death, wearing his merino, tshirt, jumper and jacket. I was a bit cool in tshirt and light jumper. Grand daughter arrived, immediately stripped off her school stuff and put on a light summer sleeveless dress, commenting how hot she was, and headed outside to play ball for ages. It's not is it cold - it's who you are too. She's never cold....LOL. Probably the manic way she moves all the time. |
