1401899 2015-06-04 01:28:00 I think if it did become a problem just port the number to someone like 2Talk and use a IP phone.. paulw (1826)
1401900 2015-06-04 01:42:00 I never advertised, so there was never anything publicly identifying me as working from home. .

Husband did, including local directory, yellow pages at various points.
Telecom knew. As I say the rules had changed and they weren't interested in work from home people....

1401901 2015-06-04 01:51:00 (snip) Telecom (snip) weren't interested in work from home people.... You never said a truer word - that is why I left them for Telstra Clear! They were OK, but Vodafone have been a nightmare of neglect as well! John H (8)
1401902 2015-06-04 02:49:00 I worked from home from 1992 to 2014 and just had the standard residential package for all that time. Telecom, Telstra Clear, then Vodafone. I never advertised, so there was never anything publicly identifying me as working from home. I never asked any tele service provider the question you are asking Cic, and they never asked me what I used the phone for, so the issue wasn't addressed.

I was more concerned about whether my house and contents insurance was kosher, and on that issue I also chose to live and hope...
Will suggest she give it a go, I doubt it being a hanging offense.

Paul, I am sure that is helpful, but not to us, way beyond, never heard of it.

Google is your friend. It's a good suggestion.

We had no issues. Ever. Still haven';t. I tried some of the others....biggest nightmare was Vodafone.
Telstra, I worked there briefly - in the dept that was supposed to fix issues. Let's just say I have never seen such a f****up in my life and they really seemed to be oblivious to the problem.
