| 1410342 | 2015-10-23 02:45:00 | Hi. have had the annoyance happening for weeks. Time and date in PC Task bar are correct but any email i get is timed at 21 hours ago and dated day behind my date. Just received an email sent an hour ago by a person saying it sent 21 hours ago. Time here in New Zealand 15:36PM Fri. 10/23/15 so time received email was 14:36PM...time on the email shows 5:52 PM (21 hours ago).................the email came from USA.....which for New York that is 16 hours behind me but it should not show that difference of 21 hours as time sent.I received the email within 10 seconds of sending mine to the person.I get the same happening with social media chat messages I have with people in many places of the world. A friend in West Java is 6 hours behind NZ and their message shows as being a day behind 22/10/2015 17:42 and that was about 2 hours ago.I noticed in the date/time of that message that the date is set DD/MM/YY and I am set to MM/DD/YY...if that is of importance. Where in my computer is the setting that is somehow incorrect? Thanks. Win7x64 Ultimate fully updated. |

| 1410343 | 2015-10-23 03:19:00 | I think the sent time is generated by the sending PC so it's at their end. The received time should be accurate though. I don't think there's anything wrong on your PC. | dugimodo (138) | ||
| 1410344 | 2015-10-23 03:57:00 | dugimodo, thanks. I was thinking the same, only it doesn't show a received time. Also, as my friend in Bandung, W Java is only 6 hours behind then date there is still same as here, i.e 10/23/1015 and not as shown in the message box as being 22/10/2015. I will just have to tolerate it and do the time difference check using world clock gadget. Cheers. | kioti (17360) | ||
