Apparently one of the most polluted water areas and highest toxic health issues in the world. People "cooking" electronics (MB's, circuit boards) to extraxt metals, but with kids around. Also sensitive data been retrieved.

Wonder then where does NZ electronic waste end up? Our dumped PC's and circuit boards.

1401991 2015-06-05 00:39:00 There's nothing clean & green about recycling,in most countries incl NZ .
The byproducts from recycling paper & cardboard is particularly nasty, I know NZ used to just ship it off to 3rd world countries for
disposable as we couldnt cope with it.

On a good note , used electronic components do actually get reused & sold in China. Ive bought cheap electronic hobby grade stuff made that was made with
reused components (would rather it have been new)
