| 1401436 | 2015-05-27 03:33:00 | Hi Team I am looking for a source of M5 15/16mm nylon bolts with CSK (countersunk) heads and matching nuts & washers. Some time back I purchased a '600 piece metric plastic screw set' from RS Components, priced at $101 +shipping, but excluding GST. There were 375 bolts of various lengths in M3, M4, and M5 sizes, but the ratbags only supply 25 nuts and 50 washers for each bolt diameter and make no allowance for lengths. For my application, which uses 2 x M5 15 or 16mm bolts plus nut and washer, that means I can only produce twelve items before I run out of nuts and bolts, and the rest of the pack is just a surplus pile of nylon whatsits. The item I build is a specialised electrical filter for Industry and is custom manufactured in small batches. I would prefer to purchase only the screw size I actually need, which would be much more economic, as I am currently paying something like 5 dollars per bolt, washer, and nut combo; so even the premium for ceramic bolts (if they make them in CSK slotted heads would not be excessive if I could purchase the one size only that I want. I've done a fairly extensive Web search in NZ but without success, plus a number of global searches as well with few promising hits, however all but a couple of them turned up RS Components in various parts of the globe, and the others were bulk sellers! Unfortunately, these are not the sort of items you can pick up at Bunnings or Mitre 10, so I'm hoping that somebody here may know a source, and one that is flexible enough to make a small sale of say 100 or 200 M5 15 or 16mm CSK bolts with matching nylon washers and nuts. Cheers Billy 8-{) :confused: |

| 1401438 | 2015-05-27 04:28:00 | C/S screws are a bit tricky alright but these people (www.farnell.com) may help salvage your miscellaneous whatsits pile. | R2x1 (4628) | ||
| 1401439 | 2015-05-27 04:38:00 | Jaycar sell them but only in smaller sizes, might not be anything over M4. And oops, don't know about countersunk either. | dugimodo (138) | ||

| 1401443 | 2015-05-27 08:37:00 | I was pleasantly surprised to find some rare items via Amazon recently... if you don't already have an account it might be worth the slightly laborious process of joining them along with NZ Post's YouShop. | Greg (193) | ||
