| 1401365 | 2015-05-26 04:42:00 | Hi All. I know that there are others interested in this. My question is this. In an oldr vesion of LDS Search it was possible to enter Fater & Mothers names & you would get a list of possible children. How is this done in the latsrt version. Thanks. PJ |

As I haven't used their site for a long time, I am not sure what search fields are available now. However, I will endeavour to look into it a bit more and see if there is a way around what you are looking for. I will post my findings back on here. Cheers, LL |

| 1401372 | 2015-05-27 03:34:00 | Hi PJ, the IGI used to be the actual site and is now : familysearch.org The original IGI was where I managed to get an extra two Great Grandfathers', taking me back to 1685. FamilySearch I believe has Ancestry.com running the transcribing, but don't quote me on that. Kind regards, lurking. |

| 1401373 | 2015-05-30 06:35:00 | It was possible on the old site to get at "indexes" or something like that. You could enter a placename & get a list of BMDs & from which church. Any ideas? I see also that Parish Records did not officially til about 1538. Yes? PJ |

Used something similar way back in 2003, Dr. Google is your friend you know PJ. www.parishregister.co.uk EI7nWa8Ec8xxNrde14ppgyTjlRk8wKNM3QdAaAmYe8P8HAQ Put a name into the search box and a date 1530 and see if that's what you want lurking. |
