| 513119 | 2007-01-06 02:46:00 | Before I return this machine for repair and which is under warranty, can anyone suggest how I can free a DVD disc that appears stuck in the slot loading DVD. Unlike models that have a a tray and a pin hole for releasing the disc mechanism, the slot loading DVD doesn't. I have tried eject from using the mouse as well as the eject button on the slot loader. Both refuse to eject the DVD although I can hear the attempts the machine is making. Any suggestiona please? |

Since it is still under warranty, I suppose you are allowed to use brute force to extract out the DVD and chuck back the laptop at the manufacturer, asking them to repair the drive as well? :D Cheers :) |
