513464 2007-01-11 04:17:00 I would say they're all corrupt, why I don't know.

Might have to download them from another server.

If you're in Mt Eden, I could give u a copy of the install file.

513465 2007-01-11 04:28:00 Hi Te Akonga. It is worth persevering with Speedy's advice. I recently downloaded the Premium version and all of its accompanying files and it runs like a dream. Good luck. Scouse (83)

Here I am back again. I agree with you when you say that all 3 nero files which I have downloaded must be corrupt because other stuff that I have done work well. Must have been a problem at the other end so a different server is the obvious next step. Its a pity that Rotorua is 3 hours away or I would have been on my bike peddling like h.. to accept your kind offer.

My new problem (not really a problem, just an inconvenience) is that I am fast running out of my Xnet 1GB cap and will have to upgrade to one of their new options and get 2GB for the same money - should have done this before now anyway!!
Cheers

513467 2007-01-27 22:58:00 Hi Speedy

I eventually decided to take my computer in to the experts. It is now OK. It seems that the problem was concerned with a faulty data cable.

Nero 7 is installed. There is so much of it that I can see quite a lot of trial and error ahead!!!

Thanks for your help

What data cable?? A router / ethernet cable or something? :badpc:

513469 2007-01-30 20:11:00 I am told that it was the cable between the cd rom and the motherboard - I don't understand it but its all working OK now and thats the main thing.
Thanks again Speedy
