513486 2007-01-07 05:50:00 I understand that the word 'enhanced' is a clue to whether or not you have USB 1 or 2.

Here is a snapshop for my Dell Dimension 2400. Can anyone please confirm whether it is USB 2.0 or not.

513487 2007-01-07 05:54:00 If it is a new Dell that you have your ports are most likely to be USB 2.0. USB 1.1 is old slow and pathetic. winmacguy (3367)
513488 2007-01-07 05:56:00 USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller - You have a USB 2.0 Controller, so yes you will have USB 2.0.

Also pcworld.about.com
Suggests the 2400 has USB 2.0

513489 2007-01-07 06:03:00 Easy way to find out - if you plug in a USB 2.0 device, and you get a bubble in the system bar saying ..."This device can preform faster", you know you have usb 1.0 noone (22)
