Tried to use the fast user switching function on XP, so's I could carry on downloading from the net whilst allowing the good lady access to her files etc.

Got back to the login screen - 2 users on it - myself and the good lady.

She types in her login details, presses enter and the screen goes blue for about 2 secs then returns back to the login screen again?? It appears to be trying but fails miserably..

Essentially I have to log out of my session before she can log in..Have checked on Microsoft website and all boxes etc are ticked correctly for fast user switching.

Cheers for any help or clues

Fast User Switching cannot be used when Offline Files are enabled. When you attempt to enable Fast User Switching, you may receive the following error message when you click Change the way users log on or off:
Fast User Switching cannot be used because Offline Files is currently enabled.
To make changes to Offline Files, click OK.
To resolve this issue, disable Offline Files:
1. When you receive the preceding error message, click OK. The Offline Files Settings dialog box appears.
2. Click to clear the Enable Offline Files check box, and then click OK.
