| 514739 | 2007-01-10 22:47:00 | :angry :angry :horrified My prior post has been removed for some reason! anyway to recap I want to put some large DV avi files onto a DVD 4.3g The file sizes are up to 25 Gig (over 2 Hours in duration) I have tried win avi comverter and the resulting file size is over 4.3 gig so I tried to DVD shrink this file but for some reason DVD shrink is unable to read the file saying fileformat error (I have tried the latedt version also) somone sugested converterx2dvd I have tried this but get the following error 11/01/2007 11:12:41 a.m. warning Total size in built folder 4541 Mb., Target size DVD5 4400 Mb. (Overflow 141 Mb.), Can anyone have a further suggestion? unfortunatly as the prior post has been removed I can not read prior suggestions Thanks |

| 514740 | 2007-01-10 22:56:00 | I think youi'll have to convert to hdd first not burn directly onto a DVD, if this is what you're trying to do. Obviously it wont fit. And are u using XP and is it formatted in NTFS, not FAT32? You'll have to find a program that can edit / cut it into segments. |
