| 514265 | 2007-01-09 10:20:00 | A new member of this forun, I would like some help with an email problem. My computer was running Windows ME and had a meltdown just before Xmas. I formatted the hard drive, installed XP and now I cant download my email. My Isp is xtra, I have tried Outlok expess and thunderbird and I also use Mailwasher, these will all connect to the server but I get rejected for "invalid user name or password". I have contacted Xtra and agreed that my settings are correct - I can access webmail using the same username and password but still cannot download. Xtra helpdesk suggested that Outlook Express etc is not saving my password (but it's the same in three different progammes) !!! Any suggstions please?? |
