| 514768 | 2007-01-11 03:34:00 | I love my Lian Li case as it looks to be designed by a sane person e.g. you can access the motherboard without other bits in the way, the front pops off etc .. They aren't cheap though (better now in price though). |

Lian Li cases are well built. |

| 514771 | 2007-01-11 06:36:00 | 1. Lian Li and Silverstone:cool: 2. Coolermaster Those 3 make quality computer cases. 1. The material 2. The quality workmanship 3. The design 4. The big range of them to suit any age I have this and like it: Lian Li (PC-7BW) PC-7BW GT , Black , Dual 120mm Blue LED Fans, Transparent side window But I could do with more depth and more hd space next time. I have used Thermaltake in the past, the side panels flex the material was thin, the quality not as good as the 3 listed above. Now I have a Lian Li I will not go cheap on a case again if I can afford to.:2cents: Read case reviews and see the case in person, open it up have a good look etc before buying it. |

| 514772 | 2007-01-11 06:54:00 | I'm not into plexiglas and flashing lights in a computer, I want something that says that this is no department store computer without being over the top. This is the first computer that I'm buying with the intention of regularly upgrading it so I want something that's well laid out. I don't want to run into a situation where a new power supply or a second video card don't fit. | BrotherDragon (10117) | ||
| 514773 | 2007-01-11 07:17:00 | I got a Coolermaster . . . curvy steel and perspex front and little blue lights (heavy sigh) . I know absolutely nothing about sex . . . but makes the hair on my arms tingle looking at it- I assume that's a good thing . :stare: Apparently the best thing about them is they are steel . . . so you can tighten your nuts without worrying about stuffing them up and things slide in and out nicely without too much effort (plenty of room inside too!) |

| 514774 | 2007-01-11 07:30:00 | I got a Coolermaster... curvy steel and perspex front and little blue lights (heavy sigh). Coolermaster have some really good cases. I think they look better than the LAN-Li cases, but I don't like having a door in front of my optical drives. The one I like best (www.coolermaster.com) is actually one of the cheapest. |

I got the cavalier... solid as and the door hides all sorts of sins... is magnetic catch so just pops open if shunted by the drive tray :) |

| 514776 | 2007-01-11 08:19:00 | I have had one of these for a year or more: www.lian-li.com I wanted a quiet PC and eventually chose to spend a bit of dosh on this one after reading the reviews. Up until then I had the usual beige crap since being forced to change to Windoze boxes. The case is quiet, understated, stylish, and extremely easy to work on - no screwdrivers needed to get into the case, swap drives etc. The reviews say there is excellent airflow, and I know mine never gets hot (however, this is possibly a result of what I use the PC for. No sharp edges inside either - they make a feature of covering potentially hazardous corners and edges. Now we have grandchildren, I particularly like the lockable front door that keeps mischievous little fingers away from the buttons. It also has front USB & firewire sockets, which is great for connecting the digital camera - that was another feature I was shopping for, and when I bought the case there weren't too many cases like that. Cost a lot of course, but I won't ever need a replacement, so for me it is a lifetime purchase (well, as long as PCs are around!). It will see me out, as my father in law used to say. Highly recommended. |

I'm almost certain I'm going to get the ASUS P5N32-E SLI motherboard which has this huge copper cooling tube and I may one day run two graphics boards so the case needs to have a good internal layout. BTW where can I find case reviews? Thanks to everyone for their thoughts. |
