The firewall part is similar from what I read with the Linksys router only user manual. From my reading the router without a modem needs a RJ45 for the modem to be connected if one wants the modem connected to the router. I have yet to come to one with a USB connection on router for the modem. |

| 514656 | 2007-01-10 10:23:00 | If a person bought a router "without" a modem. One can choose to plug in a ADSL modem or plug in a cable modem. AFAIK this is via RJ45 and not USB. Although there may be one on the market that I have not seen. |
