| 515128 | 2007-01-12 01:22:00 | i have just installed an new tv card plugged in the cables and and we have tv on the computer "COOL AS" after wacthing tv i turned the programe an went to play some music through my media player but there was no sound so pulled out the speaker cable from the tv card and pluged it back into my computers onboard sound jack points an then there is music again doe,s this mean i have to crawl behind my computer and swap my speaker cables over every time i want to wacth tv or is there some simple answer to my problem |

Then it should play sound when u use the tuner and still play sound normally in Windows. Just make sure u tick line in under the sound / volume control properties. If the tuner's audio out is connected to line in on the sound card. |

| 515131 | 2007-01-12 04:53:00 | Some TV Tuner cards come with a short cable to go from the line-out on the TV card to the line-in on the sound card. It sounds like yours should have this. Then you can leave the speakers connected to your sound card line-out and use the Line-In volume control to adjust volume of the TV card. |
