515207	2007-01-14 01:45:00	About 3 years ago using Yahoo messenger 5, 6, 0, 1358 I used Yahoo's Webcam feature, & I did not need to open up any ports what so every & I did not even have a static ip, & it work fine. I don’t know about the newer version of yahoo (as I am still using 5, 6, 0, 1358), but I would have not thought that you would need to open any ports to run any programs at all, as opening any ports is a security risk.	stu161204 (123)

To be honest i have never used YM and don't want to ;). I am wondering if its something in the new version/s, as he insists it worked before the format (6 months ago easy) and stu says he had no probs with the early version either...	J ZEP (336)
515211	2007-01-17 05:58:00	Success, it appears to be just the new version 8. Had him uninstall that (8) and try reinstalling the previous version 7.5, which works fine with ZA, no probs at all :).	J ZEP (336)
