2007-01-13 21:20:00 | Hi all, I would like to connect my HP Laserjet 2200dn to my wireless network, but I cant figure out what the IP is. I have tried to print the configuration page but only the first page prints out, and the IP is on the second page. I have also downloaded Jetadmin, but this doesnt seem to help because I dont know the IP. I dont have a DHCP. Does anyone know how I could find out the IP address for the printer? It would help out immensely! :help: Thanks in advance, Andy

2007-01-14 12:59:00 | Hi Beama et al.! Thank you for the response! Unfortunately, I have already tried printing off the config page like you said (pressing the Go and Cancel buttons at the same time). It does print the first page, but not the second page. I remember when I bought the computer that the vendor printed two configuration pages which contained different information. I believe the IP is on the second page which I can't seem to print out. I don't see an IP address listed on the (first) configuration page which prints out. How can I print off this second configuration page? Thank you! Best, Andy

2007-01-14 20:43:00 | Hi! I have tried a "cold reset" by holding the Go button for 10 seconds and turning the printer on. All the lights flashed, but then when I printed the configuration page, again it was only the first page! Any more ideas? Thanks! Andy

2007-01-14 21:15:00 | I mean a hard reset back to factory, simply turning it off and on will not reset it... Look in the manual on how to reset back to factory settings. And are you able to get to a DHCP server somehow? You could also try an IP range scanner to scan for it...

2007-01-15 04:57:00 | just tried to print a config page on our 2200dn using the procedure I outlined and I got two pages, are you pressing both top buttons together breifly. goto to your router and see which ips are being allocated with the printer contected to your wireless network it should give MAC address and ip allocated

2007-01-15 05:04:00 | What is on the second page? If it is solely information related to network operation, and there isn't any network mode set up ... ;) I would guess that HP would save paper by not printing that page if it doesn't contain anything being used. Is there any menu accessible from the front panel or do you have only a couple of buttons, with no display?
