515106 2007-01-12 00:20:00 Hi there,
Maybe you can help me. When I went to turn on my computer this morning, (Win XP). nothing happened. It wouldn,t turn on. I have checked and double checked all leads and connections to no avail. The Monitor indicator light comes on with the no signal error.. Any ideas what could be wrong please.
Many Thanks

515107 2007-01-12 01:21:00 You have a hardware fault. WHich bit?

Well, does anything happen at all? Take the side off the case and listen/watch.....does the hard drive power up and load? If so, probably graphics is faulty.
If not, could be the power supply, the RAM, the MB.........

(Just fused one of mine - hence the thought)

The monitor light may be irrelevant.
My previous computer's monitor had its own wall connection.
The light showed whether the box was plugged in or not.
