| 516366 | 2007-01-16 04:42:00 | A mate of mine has a Asus 92T Laptop, only a couple of months old. It has now developed a series of weird problems as follows. He was connected to the Net one day when suddenly a message appears: LOST ???.DLL FILE FROM NORTON ANTIVIRUS. SYSTEM IS CLOSING DOWN ... and that is exactly what it did. Unfortunately, this was so quick, he was unable to get the name of the ???.DLL File. The computer will reboot but Norton's won't function and now the CD/DVD Writer has no sound. To add to his problems, the web cam can't be found in MY COMPUTER, even though it's built in. At this point he ran the Recovery CD but this has not helped. It is my guess, this is a result of a virus but how do you get rid of it as Norton's has gone down. Any help appreciated. BURNZEE |
