| 516280 | 2007-01-15 22:38:00 | I made a small mistake as i set up my Mepis box again, and i think i told it that i live in America for the purpose of a time zone oops I can change it as a KDE user so personthingy is a AK (near enough), but there still seems issues regarding when mail arrived and that sort of thing. Is there an easy way to edit some file of whatever so the timezone is NZ? |

| 516281 | 2007-01-15 22:58:00 | The time zone is set by creating a symbolic link (/etc/localtime) to the appropriate file in a huge collection, or by setting the TZ environment variable. There are various ways to set it ... "timezone linux" to Google will point you to helpful sites. | Graham L (2) | ||
