| 516446 | 2007-01-16 08:19:00 | Recently bought a MX5000 bluetooth keyboard and mouse combo. Installed latest software etc and everything was fine. However if I leave the keyboard for 30 secs or more and I then type something, the first letter that I type repeats itself a number of times. ie sssssssstart or ffffffffffine. etc Have reinstalled the setpoint software. Changed the USB ports the receiver is plugged into and no joy. Also as one was due anyway reinstalled Windows XP and still no luck. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers |

After exploration and experimentation, I found that I could eliminate this by adjusting the time delay before Windows would auto-repeat a keystroke. Odd - but easily fixed with no downside. This sound like the same prob you're having?? Don't know how u fix it, it might be thru Control panel / Keyboard / Speed tab |
