517301 2007-01-18 07:49:00 I don't send much email from my ihug account....

I have Eudora 6.2
back in November i had no problems, haven't changed anything i can think of.

today i can download email OK but not send.
I get an SSL error.

error reads:

the servers SSL certificate was rejected.
unknown or unprovided root certificate.

i have the choice of accepting the cert but I don't think i should till i understand more about why it stopped working..

517302 2007-01-18 08:02:00 Looks like its a known prob in Eudora (eudorabb.qualcomm.com)

And here (eudorabb.qualcomm.com)

This part

The only other possibility I can think of is that your eudora.ini file is somehow damaged.

With Eudora closed, navigate to your data directory and rename eudora.ini to eudora.old.

Then start Eudora. It will treat this as a brand new account. You will have to enter your email address and user name and SMTP server and passwords from scratch.

See if that fixes it.

517303 2007-01-18 08:50:00 well the rename the INI didn't help.

i have accepted the cert and all is good.
