516827 2007-01-17 08:43:00 Have you got PowerPoint install on your desktop computer? (which I guess your having this problem on) stu161204 (123)
516828 2007-01-17 08:45:00 That may depend on how your trying to open them. I normally save the file to the desktop and then open them using Powerpoint. are you trying to do something different? winmacguy (3367)
516829 2007-01-17 08:49:00 that is how i am having to do it - save it first then open, is there a way i can simply select open instead of save?

rather from mars than predictable old venus...

516830 2007-01-17 08:53:00 i have powerpoint somewhere in there...lemme open my pockets and take the fluff out.. nzmarsgirl (11785)
516831 2007-01-17 08:56:00 Mars/Venus?

And there I was thinking you were just a fan of chocolate bars.......

Anyhow, If your using a website hosted email then its best to save the document to desktop before opening in order to ensure you have the complete and error free file saved locally, Stops em hanging or displaying all munted.

Now, You say you have lost the ability to open powerpoint documents?, Is this because you may have deleted powerpoint off your computer?, Go look in your start menu and see if you can find and launch the program.
