| 516753 | 2007-01-17 04:06:00 | On an Acer Aspire 5102WLMi laptop which came with McAfee Virus protection preinstalled has developed a problem. On starting windows the following message is received: McAfee Integrated Security Platform has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I have tried getting into the setup programme but cannot start it because it shuts down every time with the above message. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks. |

| 516757 | 2007-01-18 03:49:00 | Now I seem to have a different problem. I have tried to uninstall McAfee and the McAfee uninstaller has locked up. The computer is working OK with other progrmmes (I am using it now!) This programme will definately not be reinstalled when I finally get rid of it. I am sure that it is not providing any protectin at the present time. Any good ideas on the removal process? Thank you. |
