Telecom have to trip big time up for that to happen but even doing that doesn't mean anything, look at MS. I see Telecom slowly working away while competitors try to tip the scales, however it's the large companies that will be targeted and the dense areas, where Telecom will try to keep them happy and the competition out. What I want to know is, will it ever get to a stage where it's worthwhile to install better equipment, technology etc. I don't think I'll be getting Fibre Optics this Xmas except as the fake branches on the lighted Xmas Tree. Cheers, KK NZ is a tiny tiny market, that it will never be affordable to have 2 different networks, such as fibre and copper wire. WE ahve both fibre and copper in wellington, but it wasn't expanded due to it not being affordable. Really it needs government investment, but the only thing the governemt are using our tax money for , is investing in the cullen fund, which is investing in offshore companies rather than it's own people. |

Billy 8-{) Yes that is what an unbundled network is, and it is the same as in other countries such as England and Oz. |
