| 517405 | 2007-01-22 00:33:00 | On starting Win 98se all I get is a blue screen with the manufacterers logo on it. Windows does't load. Pressing escape brings Is this a hardware or a software failure, is there a way forward. Thanks Eddie Sounds like hardware. Unfortunately you will need fault finding skills to track down the fault. Could be ram, HD, m/b etc etc etc The first step will be to try to boot up from a floppy disk (or the Win CD) & see what happens. Then run "scandisk C:" & let us know what happens. |
