517034 2007-01-18 00:40:00 For your information, Intel Core Duo CPUs run at 32-bit, while Intel Core 2 Duo CPUs run at 64-bit.

Cheers :)

Unless you go for a top of the line specd laptop don't expect to much performance for games although for general multimedia you should be ok.
Depending on the type of multimedia your interested in 1GB of RAM should be fairly sufficient.

im guessing those specs will be ok enough for some decent gaming on the go?

517037 2007-01-18 01:17:00 That would depend on your definition of "decent". winmacguy (3367)
517038 2007-01-18 01:22:00 would those setups run say FEAR, HL2 or Company of Heros on medium settings? kingping (11473)
517039 2007-01-18 01:57:00 I think the general rule of thumb is if you want good gaming use a desktop PC, for everything else a good laptop is perfectly sufficient. winmacguy (3367)
