| 517538 | 2007-01-19 08:55:00 | Hi I'm trialling Office 2007 (120 day trial). In Outlook I can receive messages okay but whenever I reply to a message or send a new one I get the following error message on an undeliverable 'system administrator' message: 501 #5.1.1 bad address The addresses I'm e-mailing are all okay so I can't figure it out. Does anyone know? Cheers Paul |

| 517546 | 2008-02-13 08:08:00 | I'm guessing you've found the problem and fixed it. I came across the same problem when I rebuilt my laptop. I beileve the cause of the error (for me at least) was installing McAfee Security Centre. When I saw the post above advising to check the outbound mail server set up I did just that and found the smtp settings had changed and now started with mail. instead of smtp. I changed it back to smtp. and what do you know it works just fine. | Bazac (11797) | ||
