| 517527 | 2007-01-19 08:03:00 | Win XP Am able to open paradise net connection. However when I try to use E Mail or surf the net comes up with error. SMTP.paradise, port 25 secure SSl no socket Error 11004 error # 0*800CCC0D. Use AVG, Zone Alarm Adaware, skybot. Same error with Firefox or Outlook express. Read other comments checked but file VSDATA(%.vxd not on H Drive. have un-installed TCP/IP and re-enstalled. Still no go Any thoughts, thanks Advocar pressf1.pcworld.co.nz :waughh: |

I remmber that it started with Intranet first with no access then slowly finding out from friends that I was not receiving E MAils then unable to rcd any or send any. Updated ZA, AVG,Adaware, Skybot and scanned 1 at a time an no errors / bugs found. | Advocar (1098) | ||

No go so put back in paradise net primary and secondary numbers. No Go. The only box ticked is Internet mail sercer SMTP no Pop3 ? Also trined typing ipconfig in run command but window comes up black and blank then cloaes. Like wise if I try to Ping my primary dns address. My old PC has box ticked Qos packet schedular but newer PC doesnot have it? Advoxar |

| 517535 | 2007-01-20 03:07:00 | uninstall ZA and reinstall. you may need to clean up old files after uninstall. it would pay to do a repair install of AVG as the winsockfix can break the email scanner. |

My old PC has box ticked Qos packet schedular but newer PC doesnot have it? Carefully check server settings for typos, like , instead of . or.. etc. You don't need QOS. Don't type ipconfig into Run. Type CMD. Then type ipconfig in the command window and see what happens. Likewise with pinging....... |
