517689 2007-01-19 22:40:00 PC With ASrock K7VT2 Motherboard, does 1 long and 3 short beeps at startup - the video card failure code. But then it appears to reboot itself and then does 1 single beep and loads windows fine anyway.

Just started doing this recently, any ideas as to what this could be caused by?

517690 2007-01-20 00:25:00 Does it happen every time you start your computer or just one off? bk T (215)
517691 2007-01-20 00:57:00 Think I've fixed it - reset the bios and it appears to work again... Agent_24 (57)
517692 2007-01-20 02:23:00 It could have lost the stored BIOS settings (low backup cell?). The error could cause the default settings to be loaded and a reboot started. Because the new settings would not be saved, this would repeat each time you start the computer.

When you reset the BIOS, you would have done an "exit with save". :
